I am Marcia Drucker, a technology writer specializing in Java-based applications with a focus on system lifecycle documentation as well as technical marketing communications. I translate complex concepts into plain English to connect with the knowledge and needs of my target audience.
My particular interests are Internet and advanced telecommunications technologies. I also enjoy working in fast-paced software development envrionments, collaborating with design and development teams to capture functional requirements and translate them into system designs and applications for customers in both the private and public sectors.
For eight of the past nine years I wrote manuals and technical marketing pieces about Java-based applications. In my latest job, after many years away from writing software, I learned to code in Java and applied that knowledge to simple programming- related tasks. My plan is to improve my Java skills so I can contribute to a software development project.
